I don't see much value in displaying information in the "thick-client" Google Earth, it's too big of an unnecessary change in scenery from the Zenoss web-app.  You want everything to remain in the web-browser.  

I believe what the original poster and mathrock were referring to when they mentioned integration with Google Earth was the Google Earth Enterprise (http://earth.google.com/earth_enterprise.html) software that apparently offers "support for 2D browser-based access using the Google Maps API".  However, there appears to be no information anywhere on the web for using the Google Earth Enterprise 2D browser-based API.
