[Zenoss-dev] problem with template binding inheritance

I've noticed that when I bind a template to an organizer, it applies to all organizers beneath it which I assume is the intended result. Lets say I bind a template called MS_servers at /Devices/Server/Microsoft for all Microsoft servers. Later, I bind a template called pingGraph at /Devices/Server to apply to all organizers beneath /Devices/Servers including the Microsoft organizer. This does not work. Once a template has been manually binded at a lower organizer, templates that are applied afterwards at higher organizers do not get inherited to those organizers. They do still get inherited to organizers beneath it that have not been modified as far as template bindings go. I've tried resetting the bindings on the organizer, but it doesn't change anything. I am using Zenoss 2.1.2. Please help. Thanks.
