Neither do I.  If you go to the device in question and go to its menu,  
More then Templates do you see the Device template listed as an  
option? If so, what path is it defined at? If you click into it verify  
that you see the sysUpTime data source?

If all of this looks good, go to the device's zProperties and make  
sure Device is in the zDeviceTemplates property.
