A possible workaround is disabling the production interface and reenabling it, after that the management interface is listed first but this only works untill the next reboot. It's also possible to reorder the interfaces in Windows but this doesn't seem to influence the wmi listing.
Maybe someone from Zenoss can tell us where we can increase the template timeout, setting it to more then a minute could be workable workaround for now ?
I also noticed the existing ticket 2333 but I think they should make this a higher priority because the wmi actions Zenoss does for listing the Windows services etc are also experiencing this timeout (more then a minute) when the servers are using multiple interfaces. The wmi libraries used by the python scripts also have this bug.
