[zenoss-users] Zenoss 2.1.1 / Netopia Cayman - Perf Collection Help Needed

I've got a Netopia Cayman 3546 DSL router that I'm trying to manage with Zen 2.1.1. I've seen entries in the forums here that others have been successful, but I'm not.

I've got SNMP properly configured and I can discover and model the device. The status tab on the device information page shows MIB-II information (sysname, etc), so I am presuming that Zen is talking to it properly via SNMP.

However, I can't get any perf information. If I click on the OS tab and then select the Cayman's fast ethernet interface, I get a throughput graph with no datapoints and a complaint from RRD tool that it has nothing to graph ("Missing: data file for . . ."). The packets and errors graphs aren't shown. It looks like the ethernetCsmacd template is associated with the FE interface.

If I look at the PPP interface, I have no graphs at all.

I saw in the FAQ that I needed to copy the ethernetCsmacd template, rename it to ppp (the interface type from the status tab) and then associate it with that interface. I tried that, but still get no graphs.

I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out here. Have I missed something?

Thanks.
