[zenoss-zenpacks] Not Allowed to Post to Mailing List

If you get this message when posting to the forum:

do this:

1. Go to your member email preferences page: http://www.zenoss.com/mailprefs_form 

2. make sure the box for "Receive Emails?" is checked beside "zenoss-zenpacks" 

3. press "save"

If you would prefer to not receive the emails from the list, but want to participate in the forum, you must still complete the steps above to get your account "in-sync". However, you can then immediately go back to your preferences page and un-check the "Receive Emails?" option.

If you run into any problems when trying to complete the steps above, just send an email to community at zenoss.com

For those that are curious: the reason is that the forum is bridged to a mailman list and "clicking" the checkbox authenticates you on the mailman side so that the bridge can post on your behalf.
